Test & Evaluation Requirements

Any Local, State, or Federal agency is welcome to request a T&E pistol assuming we have some available and the agency meets the minimum requirements.

1. The agency must be looking to purchase a minimum of 10 pistols within the next 6 months.

2. Kimber has a lot of requests for T&E pistols so we limit the number of pistols sent out to two per request, and the T&E period to 30 days.

3. Request for T&E pistol must be signed by a Commanding Officer or equivalent.

4. Kimber does not permit T&E firearms to be physically abused. We have ample documentation we will provide if requested of our firearms performance under extreme conditions. Or see the results from Tacoma’s Police Department tests which Kimber will be happy to send to your agency.
