Kimber Expands Select Grade Rifle Lineup to Standard Calibers

Yonkers, New York, April 1, 2008 - Responding to consumer demand, Kimber® has expanded the caliber selection in Model 8400™ Classic Select Grade models to include .270 Win., .30-06 Spfd., .300 Win. Mag. and .338 Win. Mag.

Classic Select Grade rifles feature A-grade French walnut stocks with an ebony forend tip, hand cut checkering and a hand-rubbed oil finish. They are further distinguished with a specially marked floorplate.

Standard calibers have 24-inch barrels and magnum calibers have 26-inch barrels.

Like all Kimber rifles, Model 8400 Classic Grades feature a three position wing safety, match grade barrel, chamber and trigger, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, steel grip cap and bottom metal with inside-the-trigger-bow floorplate release, pillar bedding and glass bedding. They are entirely made in Kimber's American factory.

Suggested retail price of these models is $1,359.
