Kimber Chambers Light Classic Rifles in .257 Roberts

Yonkers, New York, April 1, 2008 - Kimber® is now chambering limited numbers of Model 84M™ Classic Select Grade™ and Montana™ models in the great .257 Roberts. It is hard to imagine a better mountain hunting combination.

The Model 84M Classic Select Grade weights 5 pounds, 10 ounces. Featuring an A-grade French walnut stock with ebony forend tip, hand-cut checkering, hand-rubbed oil finish and specially marked floorplate, these rifles are elegant, accurate and perfectly balanced.

The Model 84M Montana weighs just 5 pounds, 2 ounces. A rifle for the serious hunter, it blends a stainless steel barreled action in the finest Kevlar/carbon fiber stock ever offered on a production rifle.

Like all Kimber rifles, Classic Select Grade and Montana models feature a three position wing safety, full length Mauser claw extractor for true controlled round feeding and extraction, and a match grade barrel, chamber and trigger. The receiver is bedded on twin aluminum pillars and the recoil lug is glass bedded as well. Barrel length is a full 22 inches for maximum velocity. Magazine capacity is 5 rounds in the Classic Select Grade and 4 rounds in the Montana. Suggested retail prices are $1,273 and $1,276 respectfully.
