Kimber Adds More .45 ACP Carry Pistols with Crimson Trace Lasergrips
Yonkers, New York, February 23, 2010 – Kimber® has added four new models of .45 ACP carry pistols that come standard with Crimson Trace Lasergrips. Projecting a red dot that is visible in virtually any light, Lasergrips provide a tremendous psychological and tactical advantage, promote speed and accuracy under stress and are a great training aid. Combining these advantages with Kimber quality makes these pistols an unbeatable value.
The Stainless Pro TLE II (LG)™ features a stainless steel frame and slide with an elegant satin finish. A 4-inch match grade bull barrel is fitted directly to the slide, keeping maximum weight forward and reducing sight recovery time between shots. Weight is 35 ounces and suggested retail price is $1,462.
The Ultra TLE II (LG)™ has a 3-inch bull barrel and aluminum frame with short grip that makes it easy to conceal. At just 25 ounces, it is also easy to carry. Both frame and slide have a matte black finish and magazine capacity is 7 rounds. Suggested retail price is $1,346.
The Stainless Ultra TLE II (LG)™ has the same features as the Ultra TLE II (LG), along with a stainless steel slide for more resistance to the elements. Suggested retail price is $1,462.
The Ultra CDP II (LG)™ is built by hand in the Custom Shop, and is unequaled as a carry pistol. Special features include a Carry Melt treatment for rounded and blended edges, ambidextrous thumb safety, stainless steel slide, KimPro II finish on the frame and exclusive rosewood Lasergrips with the Kimber logo. Suggested retail price is $1,603.
All four models have upgraded standard features that include night sights and 30 lines per inch checkering on the front strap for a positive grip even with cold, wet or gloved hands.
