Kimber Announces Appointment of New Chief Operating Officer
YONKERS, N.Y., Jan 14, 2016 — Kimber, Mfg., Inc., a leading American firearms manufacturer, today announced the appointment of Gregory Grogan as chief operating officer (COO) effective immediately.
As COO, Grogan will have overall responsibility for the company's growing operations footprint, including oversight of manufacturing, quality, engineering, product management, and sales and marketing.

Grogan comes to Kimber with over 30 years of manufacturing operations and leadership experience, with a career track record dedicated to leading organizations to higher levels of sales and operational performance through metrics, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques.
Prior to joining Kimber, Grogan held high-level positions in other industries, such as, vice president of operations with Triumph Group, Inc. (aerospace), vice president and general manager of North America with Hardinge, Inc. (machine tool), president and COO with Industrial Manufacturing Company (industrial), and most recently, chief of operations for Morgan Advanced Materials, a global manufacturer of technology products. Grogan earned his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and his Masters of Business Administration from St. Joseph's University. In addition, he holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
