Rifle Families

The Model 84L Classic is a new category of hunting rifle, one blending true lightweight and accuracy with America's favorite calibers like .270 Win. and .30-06 Spfd. Chambered in .270 Win. and .30-06 Spfd., the Model 84L Classic is pure Kimber. It features a full-length Mauser claw extractor, 24-inch match grade barrel, chamber and trigger, and a 3-position wing safety.

Weighing only 6 pounds, 2 ounces, it offers the custom and performance features expected from Kimber at a production rifle price. A properly shaped classic walnut stock with 1-inch Pachmayr Decelerator pad diminishes felt recoil, and a full-length match grade barrel wrings every bit of velocity and accuracy out of America’s favorite cartridges. Magazine capacity is 5 rounds, not 3 or 4, and both pillar and glass bedding stand up to the tough of the hunt.

The Model 84L Classic Select Grade is a step up, with a French walnut stock and ebony forend tip. Chamberings include 25-06 Rem., .270 Win. and .30-06 Spfd.

Each Model 84L stock is carefully shaped, then checkered and finished by hand. These rifles have the between-the-hands balance of a fine shotgun. They raise the bar so high, they create a new category.
