Those demanding the best choose a Kimber 1911 pistol. The LAPD™
SWAT Team and the USA Shooting Rapid Fire Pistol Team chose Kimber.
So did the entire shooting industry when SHOT Business Magazine
named Kimber “Manufacturer of the Year” for 2003.
Kimber® has established a new industry standard for dependability
and innovation, a tradition that continues with these five new
.45 ACP pistols.
 |
| Custom
Shop features include abbreviated beavertail and thumb safety,
bobbed hammer, rounded grip heel, carry melt and slim grips. |
The Ultra RCP II™ (Refined
Carry Pistol) is the smallest, lightest concealed carry 1911 ever
manufactured. A sighting trench is machined into the slide and
the frame heel is rounded and edges are blended, preventing hang-ups
on clothing and holsters.
The Custom TLE/RL II™
is based on the LAPD™ SWAT duty pistol, and is the first
Kimber with an integrated tactical rail. Custom features include
night sights and front strap checkering. A Custom Shop version
called the Gold Combat RL II is also available.
The BP Ten II™ is a high
capacity, lightweight polymer-framed pistol priced at just $610,
bringing Kimber quality and 1911 reliability into the price range
of most popular semi-automatics. The Pro BP Ten II has a shorter
four-inch barrel.
 |
Sighting
trench cannot snag, yet provides quick target acquisition. |
Ultra RCP II
The Ultra RCP II is a professional grade pistol from the Kimber
Custom Shop built for carry and backup. Parts have been shortened,
blended and modified to make the pistol small and light. Slim
black micarta grip panels are fluted to match the front strap,
offering a secure grip while making the pistol suitable for smaller
hands.
A sighting trench replaces conventional sights. Extremely fast
to target, this allows the pistol to be carried in a pocket or
waistband without binding or snagging.
Ultra RCP II |
Custom TLE/RL II & Gold Combat RL
II
Integral universal tactical rails allow the quick, secure installation
of accessories such as lights – an advantage that has been
repeatedly proven by the tactical community. The RL Series are
the first Kimber pistols available to the public that provide
a mounting platform for most popular aftermarket accessories.
The Custom TLE/RL II and the Gold Combat RL II from the Custom
Shop combine a blended tactical rail with proven features that
make these pistols ideal for law enforcement applications as well
as personal defense.
Custom TLE RL II |

Gold Combat RL II
|
BP Ten II & Pro BP Ten II
The BP Ten Series combine high capacity with light weight and
legendary Kimber quality in pistols priced in line with other
1911 brands as well as less traditional designs. Performance has
not been compromised, and neither has the power of the .45 ACP
cartridge.
The BP features the same polymer frame as the Kimber Ten Series,
but the frame insert is machined from aluminum for light weight.
The double stack magazine holds ten rounds of .45 ACP but the
grip profile is essentially the same as a standard 1911 and fits
just about any size hand. Slides, frames and barrels are identical
to those found on Kimber single stack pistols like the Custom
II and Pro Carry II. For personal defense or competition there
has never been a better reason to carry a Kimber.
