YONKERS, NY, — Kimber Mfg., Inc., a leading American firearms manufacturer, today announced the release of the Kimber® Camp Guard 10™ – a premium 1911-style defensive handgun developed in collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF).

Designed for use in the backcountry, the Camp Guard 10 is comfortable to carry and combines sought-after personal defense features with the stopping power required for the largest of predators. Chambered in 10mm, this full-size 1911has a 5-inch barrel, slim, single-stack design and weighs only 38 ounces. A KimPro® II finish on the matte black slide resists the elements while the Satin Silver Round Heel Frame is complemented by custom RMEF carved rosewood grips. Tactical Wedge 3-dot tritium night sights enable rapid sight acquisition in low light situations, while 30 lines-per-inch front strap checkering provides a positive grip.

A portion of all Camp Guard 10 sales will go directly to RMEF conservation and land access projects across the United States.

Camp Guard 10 has an MSRP of $1,905.
