Gunsmith

Qualified candidates should have a detailed knowledge of 1911 pistols with a minimum of 7-10 years related hands-on experience. The essential functions of this position include repairing and customizing 1911 handguns in a high-volume facility. Must be able to work with routines. The essential requirements for this position include Certification as an Amorer/Gunsmith from a licensed institute, or a track record of success working on 1911 pistols in a manufacturing environment. Web Developer
KIMBER MFG., INC., an American company that designs and manufactures premium firearms for sporting, law enforcement and military markets seeks an experienced and detail-oriented web professional to monitor, improve and update the performance of Kimber’s dynamic web properties. Based in our Elmsford NY office, this position reports directly to the Marketing Communications Manager, in close collaboration with the IT department.
Duties include:
- Maintenance of the company ecommerce site’s products, categories and orders;
- Content maintenance; management of functional and design updates;
- Propagation of email and social media campaigns;
- Web application development;
- Project management of third-party vendors;
- Software evaluation and continuous improvement.
The Web Developer will be expected to quickly establish and maintain strong partner relationships at all levels across the organization. While industry experience is not a requirement, candidate will be expected to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the firearms business and Kimber’s target audience.
The ideal candidate will be strongly versed in advanced HTML, JavaScript, CSS, web design, browser functions, social networking, email communications and search engine optimization. Superior oral and written communication skills are a must; 3–5 years relevant experience required.
Other skills important for success include proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash) and the ability to work independently and proactively. Knowledge of Dot Net Nuke, and an understanding of SQL databases are a plus.
Experience with a large-scale web site is a plus. Candidate must be able to demonstrate, with a selection of exemplars, the type of work he or she is capable of.

Manager/Director of Product Marketing
Kimber Mfg, Inc,a rapidly growing and leading manufacturer of fine sporting firearms is seeking a talented professional ready to lead our product marketing team.
Profile:
Lead Product Marketing efforts of a growing high-end firearms manufacturing company located in Elmsford, NY. You will manage (5) different lines of business by developing & implementing annual and long term product marketing plans that maximize sales and profitability. You will also direct marketing research, website development, and social media initiatives. This senior level position reports directly to the COO and offers a fast track to overall marketing leadership for a team-oriented shirt-sleeve professional.
The ideal candidate will have strong consumer (firearms preferred) durable goods marketing experience, analytical skills, and a demonstrated ability to produce results across a multi-functional organization. A successful track record leading a team and driving products through the full life cycle is critical, as is the drive and ability to assume overall marketing leadership responsibilities within 12-18 months.
An MBA or equivalent experience, several years’ product management and marketing experience are required.

Position Summary
- Build robust Product management structure and standard operating procedures
- Create strategic product plans and measure product line results
- Conduct market and product research; interpret market assessments and competitive trends
- Propose product specifications, price & demand requirements, and time-phased product intro plans
- Prepare long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses
- Develop and implement strong new product launches
- Manage the sun-setting of existing products
- Facilitate inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting master production schedules with material and manufacturing
- Collaborate with sales and marketing communications to develop retail point of purchase promotions
- Support Sales efforts to maximize revenue opportunities

Key Selection Criteria:
