Kimber 84M Hunter Wins 2017 NRA Golden Bullseye Award

YONKERS, N.Y., Jan. 13, 2017 — Kimber Mfg., Inc., a leading American firearms manufacturer, today announced that the 84M Hunter is the recipient of the coveted NRA Golden Bullseye Award for American Hunter magazine’s Rifle of the Year.

Based on Kimber’s legendary 84M action, the Hunter has a stainless steel barreled action wearing an innovative synthetic stock complete with a removable three-round box magazine, making it the perfect rifle for any weather or climate application. Weighing just 5 pounds, 5 ounces when chambered in .308 Winchester, the 84M Hunter delivers both light weight and SUB MOA accuracy across a selection of proven calibers.

“It is an honor to be recognized by an organization as respected as NRA Publications,” said Winslow Potter, Kimber’s director of product management. “Our goal was to package the renowned performance and accuracy that Kimber is known for into an envelope affordable by most serious sportsmen, and this award signifies that we delivered.”

Now in their 15th year, the NRA Publications Golden Bullseye Awards acknowledge the finest products available in the shooting sports marketplace. The winners are selected by a seven-member committee consisting of editors, graphic designers and veteran NRA Publication staff, representing more than a century of collective experience in the shooting and hunting industry.
The 84M Hunter, in multiple caliber offerings, is currently shipping to a network of over 2,000 Kimber Master Dealers. The 84M Hunter has an MSRP of $885.
